Backround is painted walls, by 2 members of the club , simple latex paint .Weathering is a MUST,when and were ever possible. (We understand a lot of folks do not want to paint or chalk their equipment). Hides a lot of flaws, not to mention it gets rid of the distraction of shined plastic pieces. Also trees, vehicles, buildings, train cars, Locos, everything we like to look prototypical.Never going to see a bright shiny Diesel, passing by bright shiny buildings, while pulling bright shiny boxcars and tankers or passenger cars. Greatly adds to the realism, and our most commented topic.
